Come and see us

Look for the pie board on the pavement and the smell of pastry coming out of the door.

Walk in

No booking needed for a brew

Most of the café is kept free for people who wander in, so there is nearly always a table. If there are four or more of you, send us a message and we will hold one.

Breakfast is on from seven, the pies come out from half past eleven, and whatever is left in the last hour goes cheap.

  • Tables held for groups of four or more
  • Takeaway boxes and hot drinks to carry
  • Card, cash and contactless all fine

The usual questions

Are dogs welcome?

Very. There is a water bowl by the counter and a biscuit behind it.

Do you have high chairs?

Two, behind the door, and there is room for a pram down the middle of the café.

Can I order ahead for a lunch break?

Yes — send us a message or ring, tell us when you will be passing, and it will be bagged and waiting on the counter.

What time do the pies run out?

Some days by two, some days not at all. We bake what the day needs rather than keeping trays warm for hours, so the later you leave it the less choice there is.
