Thirty people to feed and no idea what to give them? This is the bit we are best at.
Feeding a crowd, without the fuss
We bake for offices, birthdays, christenings, wakes and match days all over Leeds. It is the same pastry and the same fillings we sell over the counter — just more of them, boxed hot or cold, with plates, napkins and a jug of gravy if you want one.
Tell us roughly how many people, what time they will be hungry and whether anybody needs feeding vegan or vegetarian. We will come back with a price the same day.
What we do most
Three sorts of order
Office lunches
Boxes of pies, salad and slaw, dropped off between twelve and one. Standing orders welcome — most of ours are every other Friday.
Parties & birthdays
Pie, mash and peas for a room full of people, or a table of cold pies and pasties to pick at. Curd tarts by the tray if you want pudding.
Funerals & wakes
Quietly, properly and on time. Tell us the number and the hour and we will take care of it without anybody having to think about food.
How it works
Four messages and it is sorted
No forms, no minimum spend that catches you out, no account to open. Just tell us what you need.
- Send us the date, the time and rough numbers
- We come back with what we would send and what it costs
- Confirm it two days before and we start baking
- We deliver across Leeds, or you collect from the counter
The details
Questions we are usually asked
How much notice do you need?
Two days for most orders, and a week in December. If you are stuck for tomorrow, ring us anyway — if the ovens have room we will fit you in.
Is there a minimum order?
Ten pies for delivery, and no minimum at all if you are collecting from the café.
Can you cater for vegans and vegetarians?
Always. Tell us how many and we will box theirs separately and label it, so nobody has to ask.
Will the pies still be hot?
If you are within Leeds and we deliver for a set time, yes — they travel in insulated boxes. For anything further, we send them cold with instructions for twenty minutes in the oven.
What does it cost?
It depends on what you pick and how many, so we price every order rather than posting a menu that goes out of date. Most office lunches work out around the price of a pie and a side each.
